Jasper student assaults teacher

Body
In national news last week, the elementary teacher who was shot in Virginia by her 6year-old student filed a 40 million dollar lawsuit against the Newport News Public School and officials including, the city's school board, former Superintendent Dr. George Parker and former Assistant Principal Dr. Ebony Parker. Evidence has piled high revealing that multiple teachers contacted administrators about the child, citing threats, dangerous behavior and claims from others that the boy had brought a gun to school. Those warnings were ignored and 25-year-old educator, Abby Zwerner, was seriously shot in the hand and chest.
