To do list

Body
I was preparing to go on a short trip. We were going out of state, to surprise my grandson, by appearing at his birthday party. Before I left; I had a list of things I wanted to do. Many of them required my going to another town, an hour away.

When I decided to get a B.A. instead of a B.S. at ETBU, I knew I would have to take a course in some foreign language. And since Greek was the World language when Jesus was born and since our New Testament was originally written in Greek, I decide Greek would be my foreign language choice.

Welcome Integrity

No matter where we are in life, the present moment is the gift we have for a renewal of hearts and minds… to shine our best light, as given to us all in Spirit. Perhaps one of the greatest sadnesses I have experienced is the realization that mindfulness is not always exercised to the fullest.

The Hot Line

by Louise Bishop I noticed that my carport floor, had a problem. I have carpet instead of concrete. I couldn’t afford the concrete for the floor. So, we installed this “poor man’s concrete.” Cast off carpet. Not fit for a house, but perfect for this. It keeps our shoes clean. This, in turn, keeps the car and the house clean. But, now it has a tunnel in one side of it. It is large enough for a small animal to crawl into. I hope it is not one, though. I pulled the carpet over, taking the burrow out. I hope this will fix the problem.

Years ago… I received an email from my friend John Gooch saying he’d just returned from a team roping event in Athens, Texas. “While I stood with hundreds of others for the invocation, I realized that this was one sport that has always begun with a prayer,” he said. “Standing with all those men and women with their heads bowed and hats in their hands, took me back to less politically correct times when prayers in public were the norm and not the exception.”
