Compassionate gifts from God

Body
I sank into my recliner, relaxing for a moment. I had been very sick, for over a week. Now, this just felt so good. Glancing out the window, all I saw was white. I realized it was a Bradford Pear tree. It filled the whole upper window, with it’s glory. I wanted to sit on my front porch. But, I was afraid of exposing myself any further to the pollen. I wanted to get well, not worse.

Chicken, Eggs, & Other Nonsense

Body
The lowly chicken has provoked a number of interesting questions in the past, such as: Why did the chicken cross the road, and which came first – the chicken or the egg? These two questions have been pondered for many years, and every person must come to their own personal conclusion. I have decided that the real reason that the chicken crossed the road was because she wanted to get to the other side. Others have stated that she crossed the road to prove to armadillos that it COULD be done.

Dr. Lori Teller, a clinical associate professor at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, discusses a few aspects of cat grooming in which owners can play an important role.
