April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and CASA of the Sabine Neches Region is raising awareness of the need for more dedicated members of the community to step up and become CASA volunteers, and help end child abuse and neglect, through supporting children and their families.

PSC held it’s April meeting on Thursday, April 13th, opening with the prayer and meal, followed by acceptance of the minutes and hearing the treasury report. Last month, PSC voted to donate to Dixie League to cover the cost of the dirt and labor to fix up the ball field that was getting in pretty bad shape.
