Body I came to Brookeland and took over baseball program that had been to the playoffs one time in the history of the school. That first year I had a great group of seniors coupled with a great group of freshman.

Body The Hemphill Hornets are giving the hive something to cheer for! They defeated Normangee in two games to advance to the Regional Semi-finals where they face Beckville in a best of three. Game one and two will be held in Hudson on Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m.

Body Congrats to all the members of the Hemphill High Bass Club it was a great season for these anglers. Pictured above, 11 of the boat captains that are vital to the success of our students. Pictured below are Bass Anglers of the year, Caden Wright and Kane Ross.

Body Like the title says, and then there were three. The Hemphill Hornets and Brookeland Wildcats and Ladycats looked to extend their playoff runs this past weekend.

Body This past week saw the bidistrict round of the high school baseball playoffs begin in earnest. Three local squads vied to advance to the second round: West Sabine, Hemphill and Brookeland.
