Tigers Cage Bobcats

Body
The West Sabine Tigers hit the road for the last time this regular season as they traveled to Hull-Daisetta looking to improve to 2-1 in 11-2AD2. The Tigers were without a key cog in their offense as Peyton Bourque was sidelined with the flu, but the Striegel brothers picked up the slack on this night, as they combined to rush for 170 yards and 5 TD on 17 combined totes(Kameron: 11car. 118yds.3TD, Tyler: 6car. 52yds, 2TD) to lead the Tigers to a convincing 45-8 victory.

Tigers Leash Bulldogs at HOCO 2024

Body
After starting the first five weeks of their season the West Sabine Tigers finally got to christen their remade field against the Colmesneil Bulldogs October 11. The Tigers got Homecoming off to a quick start, as after a Bulldog three and out they used the short field to their advantage as three plays later Kameron Striegel popped it up the left side for a 28 yard TD. Jakobe Harris added the PAT to give the Tigers a 7-0 lead. The next Tiger possession saw more points as Laken Quick found Harris up the right sideline for a 16 yard TD, and Harris would add the PAT to make it 14-0 after one.

Pickle the Panthers was the theme the 9th graders chose for their homecoming float that won its category on Friday, but the coolest part for most parade goers was the passenger princess in the truck. MaMaw Bragg (Mrs Evelyn Vines Bragg) is pictured here. she hasn’t been in a parade since 1937 and she turns 103 on November the 8th.
