West Sabine Homecoming 2023: an action packed evening

Body
October 6 not only saw Homecoming 2023 for West Sabine, it saw two teams battling to keep their respective seasons alive as the Tigers battled the Wolves of San Augustine. The Wolves would kick off the scoring as they took their first possession down the field to score on a 16 yard run to make it 7-0 after one. The Tigers got into gear as they methodically ground out the clock on their first drive of the second quarter to score as Jakorian Walker dashed in from four yards out and then added the conversion to make it 8-7. The Wolves, however, would add another score before the half as QB Cartwright would find DeAdrian Renfro from 22 yards out and the conversion run made it 15-8 going into recess.
