Patricia Ann Johnson, 74, of Nacogdoches departed this physical life on November 1, at Parkwood in the Pines in Fufkin. Funeral service Friday November 10, 11:00 a.m. at New Zion Femple of Deliverance, interment Macedonia Cemetery, Bishop Clifford F. Olford, officiating. Final viewing held prior to start of the Service on Friday, November 10 from 10 a.m. until service time. Visitation Fhursday, November 09, 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Gamer & Son Mortuary Chapel. Patricia bom September 27, 1949 is survived by her son Eric Davis (Shyretta) of Flouston, three daughters Patricia F. Price (Vincent) of Virginia, Fynell Davis of Allen, Cotena Davis of Nacogdoches, ten grand children, three great-grand children, two brothers Farry Parks (Kathy) of Fufkin, Marvin Parks (Vila) of Flemphill, two sisters Carolyn Sowell (Roger) of Fufkin, Marilyn Parks of Fufkin. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Condolences by Gamer and Son Mortuary.

Barbara Watson

Barbara Watson met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Nov. 12. She was a dearly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. During her 86 years of life on this earth she sought to serve her Lord faithfully by serving her family and others. Spiritual conversations with her family were the highlight of her life. She was willing to stay up into the wee hours of the morning praying and conversating over God’s word. Barbara was proceeded in death by her loving husband Judge Charles Watson and her parents, Jesse and Leona Slater. She was cared for by her children: Wyatt, Deena, and Damon and their spouses. Her legacy carries on with 8 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

David Earl Goodson

David Goodson, 60, of Hemphill, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023 at his residence. David was born June 3, 1963 in Port Arthur to Lloyd E. Goodson and Gloria Isabell Kimble Goodson. He had been a member of the United States Air Force and was a graduate of Texas A&M University where he had earned his Bachelor's Degree. He later worked as a courier in the medical field in Austin before moving to Sabine County. He was great at math and he loved to play tennis.

Sharon Loving, 76, of Broaddus passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Legacies Nursing and Rehab in Hemphill. Sharon was born Nov. 8, 1946 in Houston to George Hartvig Gilbert and Mary Ellen Lanham Gilbert. Over the years, she had worked as an executive secretary in banking, as well as in the oil industry and with airlines. She and her husband had been full time residents of Broaddus for the past two years, having previously resided in Houston. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Johnny Wayne Ritchey

Johnny Ritchey, 82 of Milam passed away peacefully, Monday Oct. 30 surrounded by family, after a battle with cancer. Johnny was born in Seagraves on July 9, 1941. He was an army veteran. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Cindy Ritchey, son Timmy Davis, brothers Don Ritchey and family of Lovington, NM and brother Valdon Ritchey and family of Sparks, NV. Kenny and Megan Butler, Morgan And Emy Sherwood, Charles Wallace and family, Guy Sherwood and family. Grandson Devin Davis and granddaughter Amanda Davis. Daughter in-law Nancy Escobar and grandson Aiden Macias. Five great grandchildren Jacobrian, Justus, Johnzac, Jeven, Jenesis Davis. He is prededed in death by his son Brian Davis. A memorial will be held at The Refuge on Nov. 17 at 2pm.

Johnny Burrell, at age 72, of San Augustine departed this physical life on Oct. 23, at Longview Regional Hospital in Longview. Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 27 at Garner and Son Mortuary Chapel. Services were held Saturday, Oct. 28 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bishop Cedric Grace officiating. He is survived by his wife, Leatrice Edwards Burrell of San Augustine, Daughter, Kyra Blanton (Cleo) of Nacogdoches, Son, Anthony Burrell (Delicia) of San Augustine, brothers, J.R. Burrell, HughieBurrell (Faye), Murry Burrell (Gloria), Robert “Chip” Burrell (Cheryl), Judge Burrell (Ruby) , Milton Burrell (Willie Mae), Jerry Burrell (Linda), Terry Burrell (Beverly), Timmy Burrell(Sherry), sister, Margaret Jo Wilson (Franklin), grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
