Tina Kay Jones, 52, of Hemphill, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Tina was born August 8, 1971 in Hemphill, to Thomas Jefferson Jones and Mary Ruth Murphy Jones. Tina had resided in Abilene, for many years and had just recently returned to Sabine County where she was a resident of Hemphill Care Center. She loved spending time with her family. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruthie Jones; sister, Tara Huffman; aunt, Sue Nell Hogan; nephew, Joseph Hogan; and cousin, Billy Michael Hogan.

She is survived by her nephew, John Huffman and wife, Megan, of Hemphill; brother-in-law, Ricky Huffman of Hemphill; great niece, Nataliee Huffman and nephew, Joseph Huffman.

Graveside services will begin at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Hemphill Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Moody officiating.
