The Hemphill Hornet football boys spent their friday morning giving back to their littlest fans! Here you see Qwavian Smith and Dekevin Smith in Mrs.Laurence Pre-k class reading. I’m not sure who was more excited the pre-k students or the athletes. Coach Stark wants his boys to be role models for the younger ones and what better way than showing up to mentor them!

After finishing the SETX Bass State tournament in 13th place, three places out of qualifying for the BassMaster National High School tournament, Lexi and Brooks Hale were planning their summer activities when they received a call from the SETX area director. There were top ten teams that were unable to make the trip to Lake Hartwell, South Carolina, would the Brookeland team be ready to represent Texas in the tournament?

No, he is not running a MMA training site but a family oriented martial arts studio that places just as much emphasis on mental strength as it does physical fitness.

Old Gym Knives have arrived and they are beautiful!

The long wait is over and the treasures from Hemphill's Old Gym have arrived at the Hemphill ISD ADMIN Building. Tuesday morning, Marvin Mott with TKC - Texas Knives and Collectibles, delivered the order placed by the district when the old gym was being torn down in preparation for the building of the new middle school. All extra-curricular groups, athletic departments, cheer, band, twirlers, AG and more participated in the historical fundraiser.
