Wildcats keep making history

Body
The Brookeland Wildcats, fresh off of their first ever playoff series win versus Martinsville the week before, looked to make more history as they battled the Slocum Mustangs in the area round of the playoffs May 11 and 12 in Nacogdoches. Game one saw the Wildcats use a brilliant performance on the bump from Cade Morgan and a six run fifth inning spearheaded by two 2 RBI singles from Smith and McCugh and a sacrifice bunt from Carson Bishop to triumph 10-0 in five innings. Morgan allowed two hits, walked two and had 10 K in a complete game effort. The Brookeland bats would pound out 14 total hits in game one off two different Mustang hurlers.
