Body HHS art students recently entered the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest through the VFW National Auxiliary and our local VFW. We are excited to announce the students that placed through our local VFW.

Body Two Sabine County 4-Hers competed in the Ronald Barlow Memorial 3-D 4-H archery shoot this past weekend at Fair Way farms in San Augustine. Sam Welch got 3rd place in the compound aided class and Jake pay got 2nd place in the recurve bow class

Body The Lady Tigers were pushed to the brink in the bidistrict round by the Deweyville Lady Pirates, finding themselves in a winner take all game three in Jasper May 1.

Body The West Sabine Tigers looked to round out their regular season with a bang in Chireno April 25 vs a game Owl squad. After a scoreless first inning, the Tigers erupted for four runs in the second, two of which came on steals of home by Ryan Estes and Alex Richardson.

Body Hunter Murphy, West Sabine Tiger, just punched his ticket to STATE placing 2nd in the Boy’s High Jump (6’6) .

Body The Hornets the were on the road with a must win against the Woodville Eagles, Friday night. And win they did: 4-2 in a true nail biter.
