Body
The West Sabine Tigers continued district play March 21 as they played host to the Zavalla Eagles. After spotting the Eagles a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, the Tiger offense went to work, taking advantage of early wildness from the Zavalla starter to put up a five spot, with the big hits coming off the bats of Trevor Mitchell, Ryan Estes and Chad Goss. The Tiger bats stayed hot in the second when Mitchell would sting a single to left to plate Laken Quick and Alex Richardson to give West Sabine a 7-2 lead.
