Omega Delores Garrison Johnson

Body
Omega Delores “Doodle” Garrison Johnson went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2025, surrounded by her family. Dee had a fondness for life, and for all creatures alike — she delighted in everything the Lord made. Dee or 'Doodle', as she was fondly known, was born March 29, 1940 in Wooster, TX. At the age of 10, she accepted Christ as her Lord. Doodle graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and went to nursing school at St. Mary’s Nursing School in Galveston. She married Alton Clyde Johnson on September 14, 1960, and together they raised two sons, Clyde Thomas Johnson (Chubby) & Frank Henry Johnson (Steve). Doodle, Clyde, and the boys began their lives together in Alta Loma, where the FFA was a large part of their lives. Later, they built and ran Six Mile Marina on Toledo Bend. Through these years, Doodle gave the fishing report and became a fixture in the Six Mile community; she was beloved by all that crossed her path. She loved the outdoors, fishing, birds, and travel—especially to Canada, Germany, and Switzerland. Music filled her home, and she especially loved Engelbert Humperdinck and Elvis Presley.
