Our beloved momma Lois Elaine Broussard Granger has peacefully gone on to eternity to be with Jesus Christ her Savior on March 31, 2026. Whether you know her as momma, Nunnie, Nunny, Nanny, Sis, Aunt Elaine or your friend she was much loved and will be truly missed. She was born in Orange, on January 10th, 1938 to Isaac Joseph Broussard and Della Smith and was 88 years old. She was married to the love of her life Donald Granger in 1953 and was happily married for 68 years until he went on to his heavenly home in 2021.

She was a devoted catholic who loved her Lord and Savior. She was a loving and devoted wife to Donald and mother to Donalaine, Karen and Connie, who she supported and was always there for. Her girls were her life's work. She was the epitome of a praying mom. She loved everyone and always made you feel special and loved. There was never a time that if you went to visit her and daddy that you weren't served a delicious meal, a mouth watering piece of cake and always a cup of coffee made and offered with much love.

She is joining her loving husband Donald and her daughter Donalaine and son-in law Lee Weston, her parents and stepparents Isaac and Delta Broussard and Della and Theodore 'Pop' Smith, her sister and brother-in-law Joy and Johnny Trapolino, sister-in-law Joanne Broussard, in-laws Irvie 'Go Slow' and Loy Granger as well as several brother and sister in-laws whom have preceded her in death.

She is survived by her two daughters Karen Jean and her son-in-law Doyle Tibbitts, Connie Gayle Granger, six grandchildren Kent Tibbitts, Chris Tibbitts, Tabitha Smith, Christopher Weston, Ashley Green, Laura Powell and many great and great great grandchildren as well as brothers Floyd Allen Broussard, John Earl Broussard, sisters Sue Turner and Pamela Yeagans and many loved nieces and nephews.

Today we know she is sitting at Jesus's feet. Memories and condolences may be shared at starrfuneralhome.com.
