Funeral services for Stella Watson, age 87, of Milam, were held Nov. 3, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in San Augustine with Bro. Paul Swearingen, Olive Branch Hospice chaplain, officiating. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery. She passed away Friday, October 28, at her residence. She was born September 15, 1935, to parents Alpha D. (McDaniel) Watson and William W. Watson. She was a longtime area resident and a member of the Baptist faith. She had worked as a cashier and waitress in her early years, but had devoted most of her life to caring for her family and those she loved. She had a great love for the outdoors and spent countless hours working in her yard as long as her health prevailed.

Andrew Kevin Kitchens, 58, went to be with the Lord on November 2. He was born on September 19, 1964 in Port Arthur, to Ed and Jean Kitchens.

Gloria Jeane Thomas, 84, of Milam, passed away Wednesday, November 2, at Hemphill Care Center in Hemphill. She was born November 11, 1937 to Eual William Emmons and Alice Lenora Thompson Emmons.

Sara Pearl Strickland, 83, of Bronson, passed away Wednesday, November 2, in Legacies Nursing and Rehab, Hemphill. She was born in Jasper, on February 8, 1939 to Needham O.

Dimitroula Gianake Carroll, 81, of Broaddus, passed away Wednesday, October 26, in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, Nacogdoches. She was born in Channelview, on March 18, 1941 to Evangelos D.

Glenn Arthur Phillips of Hemphill passed away early Monday, October 24, at Hemphill Care Center at the age of 81 years, 1 month. He was born September 24, 1941, in Many, La., to parents Winnie Lee (Livingston) and George Washington Phillips. He had lived in Sabine County most of his life and retired as a welder from Temple-Inland, Pineland, after several years of service.

Carol Alice Shakespeare Miller, 74, peacefully drifted into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with her husband by her side on Wednesday, October 26, in Hemphill. She was born December 12, 1947, in Bessemer, MI to William Shakespeare and Alice Sandra Aho, both who preceded her in death.
