Othel Dayle 'O. D,' Huff, 90, of Hemphill, passed away Tuesday, April 11,2023 at Parkwood in the Pines in Lufkin, Texas. He was born in Cameron, LA on May 1, 1932 to Cone Johnson Huff and Amelia Zu Nunez. He served his country in the Korean War as a member of the United State Army.

Darwin O. Stroud, age 83, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Patricia Elizabeth Cummings, 79, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Legacies Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hemphill, Texas. She was born on March 2, 1944, in Lubbock, to Bessie Elizabeth Short Phillips and Henry Absolum Phillips.

Earnest Ray Procella of Orange, passed away on April 01, 2023, at his grandson’s home in Orange. He was 91.

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Myrtle Boyd, 87, started her new life as she entered eternal rest from her home surrounded by family. She married the love of her life, John Hamilton Boyd II, on February 21, 1970. They spent 31 wonderful years together.

Linda 'Puddin' Worthy Rogers, 75, Pineland, passed away March 30, 2023, at a Longview hospital. She was born July 4, 1947, in Colmesneil and had lived in Pineland most of her life and was a 1965 graduate of West Sabine High School.

Ernest Lee Hicks, 70, of Hemphill, passed away on Sunday, April 2, at his residence surrounded by love. He was born on September 9, 1952 in Deer Park, to his parents. He worked as a air conditioning tech for the refinery industry.

Milton Ray 'Butch' Beam, 82, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. He was born in Houston, on May 17, 1940 to Milton Neal Beam and Ethelyn Weatherman Beam.

Joyce Bryant, 91, of San Augustine County passed away March 15, 2023, at her residence. She was born April 18, 1931, in San Augustine County to the late John and Linnie Higginbotham.
