The JR Huffman Library recently added two members to their board, Stephanie Corley and Johanna Vickers. The board meets monthly and is vital in helping your local library continue to serve our community. Our library relies on fundraising, grants and donations. Any support you can show is greatly appreciated. Thursday, Sabine County joined thousands across the nation for an afternoon of prayer for our country. Sabine County Color Guard posted colors followed by Erin Watson singing the National Anthem. After the Pledge of Allegiance, Jeff Pile of Fairdale Baptist Church welcomed those in attendance. Prayer was then conducted by Pat Nolan, East Texas Disaster Relief, Rich Harrison of First Baptist Hemphill, Mark Sloan Hemphill Church of Christ, Cliff Durham, Rosevine Missionary, George Ross of The Refuge, and Michel Kahil of Fairdale Baptist.
