The family is so thankful to finally be at this stage of the journey after such a difficult season.

Sabine County Showdown

Who’s ready for some hometown rivalry this week with the always anticipated Pinecone Bowl? This year the West Sabine Tigers host the Hemphill Hornets in Pineland. Last year the Tigers took the trophy after 8 years of the Hornets holding onto it. No matter which team your rooting for, Sabine County shows up for its youth and that is what we like to see. Come to Tiger Land early, Friday night; kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.

Sabine County arrests lead to Fed involvement after large amounts of meth were recovered

(Hemphill, Texas) On September 3, 2025, shortly before 2am, Deputies from the Sabine County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Texas Highway 87 and Farm to Market Road 276 (Carter Ferry Road East) for an equipment violation.

Daniel Hogan and Morgan Hart proudly announce the birth of their son, Samuel Thomas Hogan, born on August 21, 2025, at 5:02 p.m. in Nacogdoches, Texas. Samuel weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 22 inches long. He was joyfully welcomed home by his big sister, Caroline Hogan. Proud grandparents are Benny and Sandra Hogan, Mandy Seales, and Don Hart. Great-grandparents are Thomas “Blacky” and Rita Seales.
