Thank You...

Body
The Hemphill Salvation Army Service Unit would like to thank the Postal Service as well as all the employees who worked so hard to make this last food drive a success. This would have not been possible without the donations by the community and extra manpower to collect the donated items. The donors took the time to look at expiration dates, so very little had to be discarded.

Hemphill Little Theatre 'Night, Mother'...

Body

With the subject matter, suicide, not suitable for ages under 16, Rachael Sanders as Jessie Cates, and Leanne Hinkle as Thelma Cates, delivered their best performances to date, leaving the audience spellbound in their seats (many with tears flowing) for almost a full minute after the closing on-stage bows were given. *Note: You’re not meant to deal with sadness alone. Reach out to connect with people who care. If you’re struggling with feeling sad or depressed, you’re not alone. Turning to family, friends, and other trusted sources of social support is a common way for people to deal with feelings of sadness.
