Velma Jean Raven, 80, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, in Hemphill. Born on September 1, 1945, in Harlingen, to Julius Raven, Sr. and Annie Bell Smith Raven, she spent much of her life in Fort Worth.

Andrea “Andy” Reyna Bozeman passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Texas City, Texas, on December 15, 1965, to Billy Don Selman and Patricia O’Meara Selman. She grew up in the La Marque, Texas, area and attended school there.

Betty Lou Elliott, aged 84, passed away on September 2, 2026, in Webster. Born on August 12, 1942, in Houston, Betty spent 25 years of her life in Hemphill, after previously living in Baytown.

Kenneth Walter Horn, known to friends and family as Ken, passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 89, in Hemphill. Born on August 10, 1937, in Sabine County, to Cleo Clyde Horn and Wilma Lorraine Dorsey Horn, Ken was a cherished member of his community and a devoted family man.

Karen Glover of Pineland, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, in Lufkin, at the age of 72. Born on August 16, 1953, in Woodville, she was the daughter of Virgil McKee and Treddie Myles McKee. Karen spent 40 years of her life in Pineland, having previously lived in Woodville.
