SABINE COUNTY JAIL (The persons named below have been charged but not proven guilty of the crimes stated. This information is obtained by written request to the Sheriff from Sabine County Reporter.

On October 8, 2025, the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office received a report from an adult victim who reported that she had received an inappropriate message from a teacher at the West Sabine Independent School District (WSISD). The Sabine County Sheriff’s Office contacted the WSISD Police Department, who agreed to assist the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation. Investigators from WSISD Police Department and the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office have conducted interviews with the involved teacher, one person of interest and additional witnesses. The communication or message in question occurred on a social media application and was outside of normal school hours. At this time the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office continues the investigation into the matter with the assistance of the WSISD Police Department.

Concert 'The Hoppers will be in concert Thursday, Oct 23, 2025 @ 7 pm at Bethel Chapel Miss Baptist Church located at 854 US Highway 96 N, Pineland, TX. A love offering will be received for the group and doors will open at 6 pm.
