By 1880, the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments had minimized Indian resistance in Texas and the 9th Cavalry was ordered to Indian Territory in modern-day Oklahoma, ironically to prevent white settlers from illegally settling on Indian land. The hospital board meeting was called to order with a word of prayer by Mr. Young. After the prayer Mr. Young requested to introduce his guest who was Aaron Zappa, who he is recommended for the vacant spot on the board at this time. Mr. Zappa lives in Geneva and has lots of experience in running a construction business.
