Darkness And Light

Body
From the moment that God said, “Let there be light” (Gen. 1:3), Satan has tried to shroud the world in darkness. The conflict between right and wrong, truth and error, heaven and hell, and Jehovah and the devil is the battle of darkness and light. It is very clear that ungodly people prefer darkness, as Jesus said, “The light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil” (John 3:19). The apostle Paul writes of this same truth it 1 Thess. 5:1-5 that men loved darkness to hide their debauchery. In fact, Isa. 5:20 declares that licentious people attempt to change the truth to error and light to darkness in order to disguise their real intentions.
