The West Sabine Tigers looked to clinch a playoff spot November 1 versus the West Hardin Oilers in Pineland after a scoreless first quarter the Tigers finally broke the ice as Kameron Striegel busted one for a62 yard TD gallop and Jakobe Harris’s PAT made it 7-0. After a quick three and out by the Oilers the Tigers struck again as Peyton Bourque found paydirt from 20 yards out to make it 14-0 West Sabine. The Oilers got on the board on their next possession with a swing pass from 64 yards out and the missed PAT narrowed the score to 14-6. The Tigers struck right back before halftime as Bourque shot up the middle for a 43 yard score to make it 21-6 at halftime. The Tigers would put the pedal to the metal in the third period, putting up 29 points against a beleaguered Oilers defense to make the score 5014 after three. With the clock running in the final period, the Oilers would have the only points as Wyatt would hit a 37 yard field goal to make the final 50-17.
