Zach and Stoncia Bethke held a electronics recycling pick up at the Farmers Insurance parking lot on Saturday. They had already picked up a trailer load from the County on Friday and Saturdays pick up was for the public. The program is dedicated to recycling certain electronics responsibly and keep harmful materials out of landfills, give electronics a second life and support animal welfare organizations. 20% of the profits from the refurbished devices goes to organizations such as the Humane Society and Best Friends Animal Society. Zach and Stoncia ensure that all devices are recycled or repurposed using sustainable methods, and that sensitive data is securely wiped from all devices.
