Body Tommy Chapman, born October 28, 1960, passed away on August 30, 2022 in Houston. He was born in Houston, but spent most of his teenage years in Geneva. He was a graduate of Hemphill High School. He was a retired member of the Houston Police Department (HPD).

Body Jerry Withers Wright, 72, of Kirbyville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. He was born in Jasper, on Nov. 18, 1949, to Albert S. Wright and Evelyn Beauchamp Wright. He worked for many years as a contract painter.

Body Martha Ann (Bobbitt) Vaughn, 73, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born Nov. 8, 1948, in Orange, to parents Auddie (Norwood) and T.L. Bobbitt. She grew up in Orange County and graduated from Lutcher Stark High School.

Body Everteen Dade, was born on Jan. 10, 1946, to the late Wexie and Panzy Cook in Geneva. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She was a graduate from Thomas Johnson High School in Hemphill.

Body discharged from the Army, he came back to Texas where he met and married Carolyn Nash. In Denver, he went back to college and graduated from Metrolpolitian State University.

Body Calvin Ray Stephens, 67, of San Augustine County, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022. He was born Feb. 7, 1955, in Houston, to parents, Lelia Mae (Hebert) and Jasper Miles 'Duke' Stephens.

Body JB Simmons, 79, of Geneva, departed this physical life on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, residence in Lancaster.

Body Patsy Anne Barcheers led a good life of 87 years. She lived it believing in theLord and loving her family. She spent most of it in Odessa, with her beloved husband of 68 years. Her final three years ended in Liberty Hill, on Aug. 15, 2022.
