Elaine Franklin Giddens, 81, of Toano, VA passed away on Sunday, November 20, in Williamsburg, VA. Elaine was born on February 2, 1941 in Pineland, to parents, Willie Watson Franklin and Viola Parnell Franklin. Elaine worked as a Real Estate Agent for First Choice Reality for many years.

Archie Wright Walls, Jr. 91, of Pineland, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, at Legacies Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Archie, Ned, Billie Rae, Mary Beth, Chalmers, and Randy Paul.

Kenneth Wayne Bennefield of San Augustine passed away Friday, Nov. 4, at Nacogdoches Medical Center at the age of 88 years, 2 months, 23 days. He was born August 12, 1934, in San Augustine to parents Wesley Hercie and Bonnie Lee (Alms) Bennefield.

Rafelita 'Rachel' Bragg, age 68, of Broaddus, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin. She was born Jan. 22, 1954, in Beeville, to parents Alvina (Tapia) and Freddy Coronado. She had been a longtime resident of the Broaddus area.

Tyrone Burrell, age 51, of San Augustine, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10 in Tyler.

The lifelong journey of William Douglas Haygood began on March 15, 1931, Kernes, to B.L. Haygood and Irene Adams Haygood.

Jack Tanner Sommerfield, age 27, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12. He was born in Dallas, on Feb. 2, 1995, to Blake B. Sommerfield and Dana Hyden Sommerfield.

Curtis Anthony Wall, “Tony,” 62, passed away peacefully at his home in Broaddus, on November 10. A memorial service was held Nov.19, at First Baptist Church of Broaddus, under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine, with pastor Dr.

Funeral services for Stella Watson, age 87, of Milam, were held Nov. 3, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in San Augustine with Bro. Paul Swearingen, Olive Branch Hospice chaplain, officiating. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery. She passed away Friday, October 28, at her residence.
