Hazel Girouard Swice, 89, of Bronson, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Legacies Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hemphill. She was born in Port Arthur, on Nov. 19, 1932, to Andrew N. Girouard and Evelyn Palombo Girouard. She worked as a secretary for Texaco for many years. She is survived by her son, Joseph Vaughn is Los Placitas, NM; daughters, Therese Vaughn of Nederland, Margaret Vaughan of Hemphill, Deborah Beadeaux and husband, David, of Port Neches and Hemphill, Celeste Pinson of Milam, and Patricia Vaughan of Nederland; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tues., Sept. 20, in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rusty Hammett officiating.

Burial will follow services in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in San Augustine.
