Nancy Ruth Lane Clay, 85, of San Augustine, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at CHI St. Luke Hospital in Saun Augustine.

She was born on Jan. 19, 1937.

She is survived by her husband, James Edward Clay of San Augustine; sons, Ottis Watts of Pineland, Roy Edward Watts (Patricia) of Dallas, Cleveland Watts (Jurina Kay) of Kansas, Willie D. Clay (Jonne) of Houston, Terrance Randle (Marquila) of Houston; daughter Tricia Clay Clark (Rev. S.J. Clark) of Shreveport; brothers Roy Lane (Barbara) of Beaumont, Bobby Lane of San Augustine; sisters Jimmie Nash of San Augustine, Connie Lane of Houston, Rachel Bluford (ID) of San Aguustine; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Fri., Sept. 23, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Garner & Son Chapel.

Funeral services will be held, Sat., Sept. 23, at 1:00 p.m. at Reed Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Arron Finley Officating.

Burial will follow services in St. Luke Cemetery.
