Rozella Wilkerson, 80, of Hemphill, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 surrounded by her loving family in Beaumont. Rose was born to Verline and Alton “Toog” Thomas on May 16, 1943 in Hemphill, as a part of the Robinson Bend Community that went under during the construction of the Toledo Bend Dam.

Kalyn Jeanice Pattillo Olsen, 74, of Jasper passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, peacefully at her home. Kay was born on Oct. 13, 1948 in Beaumont to Carter and Kathrine Pattillo. She grew up in Tomball and in Jasper and worked as a correction’s officer with the Texas Department of Corrections.
