Is The Heat Making Us Careless?

Body
It’s hot. It’s really hot. Sadly, it seems like the temperature is having an adverse affect on our common sense. In just about any parking lot after the temperature breaks 90 degrees, there will be at least one car left with the engine running while the driver is inside doing their business. You would think that with the w a y everyone, m e included, complains about the price of gas we w o u l d choose to not burn it while we are inside getting a honeybun and coffee. Even worse is the number of these vehicles left running with purses, or electronics, left in plain sight, a temptation to anyone who may be out for a quick buck.
