Darwin O. Stroud, age 83, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023.

He was born January 21, 1940, in Sabine County to parents O.C. and Lois (Hallmark) Stroud. He enjoyed hunting and had worked in pipeline construction. He was a longtime resident of the East Texas area.

His survivors include sister, Sylvia Ferguson Napier and husband John of Hemphill; brother, Horace Stroud and wife Janet of Vidor; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services were held, April 10, at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Sabine County, with Bro. Joe Caraway officiating, under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine.
