A better way

Body
I woke up with these words going over and over in my mind. “A better way.” I had been trying, to learn the correct way, to remove some nose pieces. They were attached to the head gear straps. They fit over my head, for the cpap machine. I always had trouble getting them off. I had been shown how. But, it never worked for me. I had slapped it against the counter, trying to get it off. That had worked one time. Next time, I broke the plastic thing that held it in. It still didn’t come off.

Limitless

Body
How often have we felt under resourced, out of energy, lacking in talent and with nothing left to give? The truth is that those feelings represent our flesh and natural thinking, not our spirit man. If we could only learn to live in the Spirit and from our re-created spirits, we would see that the resources of heaven are limitless. Not only that, as we give what we have received, what we give is restored and multiplied! “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Cor. 4:18) We tend to evaluate everything with our natural eyes and limited knowledge. We make decisions based upon our logic. Because of this, we walk in world of limitations. The problem lies in the fact that we spend too much time considering what we don’t have rather than what we have. The disciples were guilty of this when they informed Jesus that they didn’t have enough food to feed the thousands who were following Him. They were fixated on what they didn’t have, but Jesus asked them what they did have! Five loaves and two fishes were enough! He was using His spiritual eyes to see more than enough. We can do that too! If God’s resources are free and limitless, then there is enough for you and me…..and more than enough! We can freely give because we have freely received! See yourself abounding and overflowing with the resources of heaven, the gifts of the Spirit and the grace and love to lift people up. There is more where that came from.

What are you sowing today?

Body
In every fruit there is a seed. In every seed there is a harvest. In every harvest there is provision and in God’s provision there is more seed to sow. The righteous gives and does not spare. (Prov. 21:26) Giving is the fruit of righteousness. In the fruit of righteousness there are infinite seeds and infinite harvests. In other words, if you are born again, you are filled with unlimited potential based on the fruit of your righteousness. God is a God of increase and increase is the nature of righteousness.

Laughter

Body
The other day I remembered something; that happened, weeks ago. It had been funny and I laughed out loud. Suddenly, I felt better physically. It reminded me of something Reader’s Digest used to print: Laughter, Good Medicine. Then I thought about, a scripture in the Bible. It says it, is like a medicine.

Welcome Integrity: TIME

Body
What time is it? Can you spare five minutes? It’s the greatest gift anyone can give, given the magnitude of measuring the presence of another. In that moment in time, all of us, knowingly or unknowingly, are transformed as we too make a difference acknowledged by our Heavenly Father.

Lost and found!

Body
I did it again. My emergency call button, was gone. I have been so sick; that I have been wearing it, all of the time. Now what? I looked everywhere; I thought it would be. But, I couldn’t find it. I looked on the last blouse I had worn. Not there. Finally, I decided to look on it, again. It had to be there somewhere. Sure enough, it had gotten flipped over, on the hanger, to the back of the blouse. ( I have to pin it on my clothing. The cord it’s supposed to be on; irritates my skin.) I had found it at last.

Welcome Integrity: HEARTS

Body
“… ‘Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.’” __ Ruth 1:16 The eighth book of the Bible, Ruth, is an endearing story of loyalty towards her mother-inlaw, friendship because they were friends, commitment because they were supportive of one another, and love because they loved God, loved one another and mourned the deaths of their Family. Sometime during the three hundred “problem ridden” years of the Judges “when everybody did as they saw fit,” this story is extraordinary because these ladies were not corrupted by the fads, the wickednesses.

NEVER GIVE UP

Body
A long time ago an old woman tripped and fell from the top of the stone stairway in Boston as she was coming out of the police station. They called the patrol and carried her to the hospital and the doctor after examining her said to the nurse, 'She will not live more than a day.'
