The Sabine County Chamber of Commerce met on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Lost Frontier Rv Park and Grill, with a packed agenda that reflected the energy and collaborative spirit of the local business community.

Brookeland has double the fun on the field with their baseball team advancing as well over Centerville in two. They will be heading to Lamar in Beaumont on May 15th to face the Chester Yellow Jackets.

Sabine County 4-H had six members compete in the Ronald Barlow Memorial 3-D 4-H Archery Tournament last Saturday at Fairway Farms in San Augustine. They shot at 30 targets varying from an alligator, panther, velociraptor, and an over 6 ft tall sasquatch.

Sabine County 4-H had 25 entries in the Sabine County Junior Livestock Show, which is more than double what the organization had the year prior. You have the Grand and Reserve winners, but I wanted to highlight those that won Showmanship, as well.
