Body It has happened to all of us. You are sitting in a room of people and your nose suddenly starts to tingle, followed by itching, then by the unmistakable urge to sneeze. All you can do is close your eyes and “let-herrip”. Usually several people around you will say, “God Bless You”.

Body Why are some spring plants blooming right now? You may have noticed some of your spring blooming plants donning flowers this fall. Why is that? It does not come as new information that we had an extremely hot and dry summer.

Body The West Sabine Tigers left the friendly confines of the Tiger Den to travel northward to renew hostilities with the Joaquin Rams. This was a de facto playoff game for both squads, so the intensity was up several notches.

Body Hemphill High School’s Little Green Band earned a trip to NAMMB in Waco for state military marching band competion. The Baylor campus was a flurry with qualifying schools in divisions 3A, 5/6A on Tuesday.

Body Brookeland Girls Cross Country Team has placed third at Regionals and is headed to the State Competition! This is the first time in school history that Brookeland has gone to the State Cross Country Meet as a team! Congratulations, Wildcats.

Body Congratulations to Kenzy Bragg for qualifying to run in the state Cross Country Meet. The meet will take place in Round Rock on November 3 and 4.
