Harrison goes fishing and doesn’t return, parents report him missing, arrest warrants re-issued

Curtis Scott Harrison was reported missing by his parents on Sunday, Aug. 13. Investigators stated that Harrison had called home from his cell to let his parents know he would be returning from a fishing trip on the family’s recently purchased boat. However, he did not return that day or the next.

Meet Sister Amnesia...

Erin Watson s a wife, mother of four, singer/song-writer, and a follower of Christ Jesus. She grew up in the small Texas town of Buffalo. She went to Angelina College where she received her Associates Degree in Music. Her education continued at the University of Texas at Dallas where she received her Bachelors of Arts and Performance. She and her husband, Charles Watson, enjoy playing music together wherever they have the opportunity, including providing pre-show entertainment for Hemphill Little Theater shows. One of her greatest joys is listening to her children sing .She is excited to take on the role of the sweet, yet often confused, Sister Amnesia in the musical “Nunsense.”

Angelina College Nursing Program Celebrates Recent Graduates

Angelina College on Thursday held a traditional pinning ceremony inside Temple Theater for more than 40 students of the AC Nursing program. Students from the Vocational Nursing program (Hudson-Livingston Cohort) and students from the MEEP (Multiple Entry-Exit Program) strolled the stage to receive their pins from family members, friends or instructors.

Hornet Admin welcome back students...

It’s a new school year for Hemphill ISD and class is in session. Big things are happening for the Hornets. The new Middle School Building is almost completed and Meet the Teacher for Middle School and High School is scheduled for Aug. 21.
