Erin Watson s a wife, mother of four, singer/song-writer, and a follower of Christ Jesus. She grew up in the small Texas town of Buffalo. She went to Angelina College where she received her Associates Degree in Music. Her education continued at the University of Texas at Dallas where she received her Bachelors of Arts and Performance. She and her husband, Charles Watson, enjoy playing music together wherever they have the opportunity, including providing pre-show entertainment for Hemphill Little Theater shows. One of her greatest joys is listening to her children sing .She is excited to take on the role of the sweet, yet often confused, Sister Amnesia in the musical “Nunsense.”

‘You are invited to the McMahan Chapel Buddy Check for coffee and conversation...a time set aside for our veterans to connect. The event is held on the 11th of every month from 10am-12pm. Angelina College on Thursday held a traditional pinning ceremony inside Temple Theater for more than 40 students of the AC Nursing program. Students from the Vocational Nursing program (Hudson-Livingston Cohort) and students from the MEEP (Multiple Entry-Exit Program) strolled the stage to receive their pins from family members, friends or instructors.

People in our communities are facing another active year of hurricanes and the American Red Cross, Texas Gulf Coast Region, urges everyone to get ready now and consider becoming a volunteer to help people affected by the growing number of climate-driven disasters.

BOM is a proud sponsor of the Tiger Trunk Program housed at West Sabine ISD that helps to serve functional needs of students. We are also proud to support the WS Leadership Summit that was held August 2nd. Check presented by Dr. Carnelius D. It’s a new school year for Hemphill ISD and class is in session. Big things are happening for the Hornets. The new Middle School Building is almost completed and Meet the Teacher for Middle School and High School is scheduled for Aug. 21.
