Huge Turnip

Body

Mr. Huey Bailey, of Pineland, came into the Reporter office on Friday, February 23rd to show us his 'extra large' red top turnip he grew in his home garden. He says all of his turnips got extra large this year but this one was the biggest, weighing in at 11.33 lbs. No special fertilizers or care was given, just planted around September 15th last year, water it and watch it grow. He thinks it is too pithy to wat like a regular turnip but says his friends suggested cubing it to boil until it is tender, then add brown sugar, butter, and vanilla, to make turnip pudding out of it. Mmmm...

SCOTT HARRISON STILL MISSING

Body
It has been six (6) months since my son has gone missing. Tom Maddox has decided that he was running. What was he running from? A docket date had not been set on 8/13/23 which is the date that he went missing. As soon as we reported him missing Tom Maddox decided to call his bondsman and tell him to pull his bond. Maddox then called the district attorney and requested a court date of Sept 26, 2023. Bill Morian called Maddox and informed him that he could not pull his bond as Scott had done nothing wrong. After all the district attorney would not set up a date until Scott went missing although the judge had requested that the district attorney get the date set appx 2 to 3 months before. So, you see if Maddox request that your bond be pulled and you have done nothing wrong and you have paid lots of money to the bondsman to stay out of jail until court date. This will be reported to the state. Then he turned around and put warrants on Scott stating that he was running. Running from what he did not know anything about the court date. Big Maddox does just what he wants. Remember Scott went missing on Aug 13th, we reported him missing on or around the 14th or 15th, he had no idea that a date had been set. Scott was excited to go to court and have his day in court. You see, Scott was 'WINNING' this case per Bill Morian.
