by Neal Murphy I have often stated that I wish I knew what “scratch” was because I keep hearing people say that they made something from “scratch”. If I knew what it was I could bundle it, can it, or bottle it for sale and make a lot of money.

Springtime Thoughts

I love Springtime. I think it is my favorite time of year. I have noticed a lot of flowers blooming, lately. I just soaked up their beauty. Red buds, (which are actually lilac colored,) yellow jasmine and white flowering trees. Some of the flowered trees were Bradford Pears. Possibly, planted by an unsuspecting bird.

Lake Area Cruisers Donate to Food Pantry

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the Lakes Area Cruisers donated $3,000.00 to the Sabine County Food Pantry. Angela Stewart, Executive Director of the Food Pantry expressed the organizations appreciation for the most generous gift that will be used to enhance food distribution to the citizens of Sabine County.
