Pet Talk

Body
Allowing pets to roam outdoors can seem like harmless fun, providing them with exercise, mental stimulation, and a chance to explore. Some environments, however, pose hidden dangers that pet owners may not immediately recognize, such as the risk of cryptococcal fungal infections — which can infect the lungs, brain, and other parts of the body.

Welcome Integrity

Body
That enchanting memory becomes a symbolic refuge in black and white. I remember the ringlets of a stream in spring easing unspoken scars kept hidden except from Him; yet, now I ask, how could they have compared to those Jesus experienced on our behalf? And I dare ask, Help us Lord.

Preparation for a supplied need

Body
I was headed outside to feed and water the birds. I reached for my medical alert button. I always wore it, when I went outside. (For those who might not know what this is; it’s a cordless button I wear. It is connected to a machine inside my kitchen. If I push the button; an ambulance will be here soon. Unless I tell them; it was an accident.) My family wanted me to get one; when I started having heart trouble.

Getting to see God

Body
“…and we shall see His face…” Rev. 22:4 I have a friend in Idaho named Ellen Rogers. She is a Conservative Christian who is talented far beyond what she'd ever admit. After teaching accounting at Lufkin’s Angelina College for several years, she and her husband Cliff retired to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I talk to her often and we've been invited to visit their home. Reading her letters and talking to her has revealed how she feels about life’s great issues. But even though I've known her for many years, I've never seen Ellen... not even a picture of her. It will be a joy to see her some day.
