Pet Talk

Body
The anticipated celebration of America’s Independence Day calls for an annual celebration full of fireworks, grilling, and cheers. Amid the fun-filled chaos, however, sometimes lies the overlooked care of pets that may have a contrasting and much more fear-filled perspective of the Fourth of July.

Welcome Integrity

Body
A prominent professor spoke at Lernier recently and said most scientists agree they know not what “conscience” is. I remain shocked. To have a conscious mind is to be completely aware in discernment. I think it requires the willful discipline of choosing mindfully in concert with God’s will. I mean, we understand that it is unconscionable to suppress, manipulate, and enslave , let alone join dark forces harming the innocent. Anyone in their right mind, consciously discerns jointly in God’s light.

Fincher’s Corner

Body
“He was lost and is found…” Luke 15:32 In the summer of 1980, Mother called her ten children to tell us our dad was missing. His habit for years was to rise at 4:00, drive to his Water Superintendent’s Office in East Center, Texas and return home at 8:00 for breakfast.

Roots

Body
I was attempting to repot some plants. My sister had given me two pots, of amaryllis. They would need to be separated. There were two, in each small container. So, I was trying, to do this. But, I couldn’t find any roots. I kept digging and finally just dug down and pulled the plant out. There was no root. Maybe it has a bulb. Yep. I looked it up. The one that I pulled out, would not live, I knew. It was a lost cause. It was disconnected from it’s life source.
