Body I’m sure, I’m not the only one. Most of us, are extremely happy; to see warmer temperatures and a shining sun. Those two weeks, I lived in fear of water pipes bursting and the electricity going out. My home is all electric and without power; I would have no heat.

Body For 30 years, The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage and I have lived here in Florida, enjoying the beautiful weather. The other morning, I got up, got my coffee, and sat down to begin the day.

Body How do we say good by to the old and welcome the new? Change is a constant so going forward is as natural as rolling streams of water caressing rounded pebbles strewn alongside fallen boulders from nearby hills… lush with greens and shy blooms of Morning Glory.

Body Our piano player, Bob Wood, has such a humble spirit, he struggles to keep tears back when sharing a story of divine significance. He saw angels sing as he played How Great Thou Art. He heard them, men and women.

Body My offspring were trying to bring a loveseat in my house. They didn’t want it any longer and had offered it to me. Now, it was hung in my front door. I was helpless to do anything but pray. That I did. It was just too tight. There it was, the widest part of it.

Body Yellowpine Baptist Church will be hosting Bro. Wayne Stringer for a special 'Mission Promostion Service' at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026. Bro. Stringer serves as mission director for the Philippine Mission Development.

Body The greatest joy I have every morning is not only getting up but also stepping in my office. I step inside, pause for a moment, and look around at all the books on my shelves. I have almost 10,000 books. And yes, I read every one of them.

Body Although the year is new, I’m still an old geezer. I think I know what geezer means, but I’m not sure what the definition of “old” is. One person’s old is another person’s youth. Believe me, I don’t know the difference.

Body My husband and I moved our house to it’s present position, years before his death. There were three small trees just behind it. Thinking they would make a good shade; I was glad, they were there. I learned something startling about one of them lately!
