Faith

Body Throughout my life, I have dealt with many 'pesky' things that provoke the dickens out of me. I sure do miss those 'dickens.” When I think I've got one pesky thing under control, another comes along.

Body Hope is in the light of knowing we are held lovingly by our Creator. Our faith and trust yields to hopes fulfilled through His ultimate wisdom. Hopelessness, is in the darkness of despair without the recognition of God being present. He knows the best outcomes.

Body Faith is knowing the possible in a seemingly impossible situation. Faith must have started in hope but would have been empty without the birth of Jesus. His coming to earth to fulfill humanity’s need for salvation remains the greatest gift for everlasting life.

Body I had been out to run some errands. I felt a sense of accomplishment; that I had gotten them done. One of the things, that I had to do was pick up, my prescriptions. Since one of them comes in a large box; they had put them all in a paper bag.

Body What I enjoy the most about holidays is the “eating frenzy.” It gives me opportunity to get away with a lot behind The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage’s back, which is a great challenge. I’m not always successful, but I try and I have my family to thank for that.

Body I was having a good day. My age and health give me many days, that require a lot of rest. I had been busy doing chores; that had been neglected, a long time. I had accomplished some things that; I really wanted to do.

Body I woke up to total darkness. I could tell I was in my bed. But, where were the lights that I always leave on? And why wasn’t the security light burning? Then, I remembered. I had gotten a notice from the electricity company, the day before.
