Body The West Sabine Tigers and Lady Tigers traveled to Zavalla March 19 to battle the Eagles and Lady Eagles. The Lady Tigers hit the diamond first and wasted little time, jumping on Zavalla for six scores in the first on four hits.

Body Congratulations to West Sabine senior and State Powerlifting Bronze Medalist, Briley Rogers. Briley competed this past weekend with a 1735 lb total weight-lifted: 700lb squats 450lb bench and 585lb dead lift.

Body Both Brookeland squads kept their respective diamonds hot this past week as they both opened up at Chireno vs the home standing Owls.

Body Representing the Hemphill Hornets Bass Club, Kane Ross and Caden Wright fished the SETX H. S. fishing tournament Saturday on Sam Rayburn, bringing a 5 fish limit to the scales weighing 10.95 lbs.

Body Fresh off of wins in Brookeland on March 12, both the Tiger and Lady Tiger squads looked to improve their standing as the ladies played host to Chireno March 13 as well as Chester March 15 while the Tigers hosted the Yellowjackets March 15 as well.

Body West Sabine teams competed in the Little Dribblers Regional tournament in Evadale and all 5 teams entered will advance to NATIONALS. .

Body The Brookeland Wildcats and Lady Cats had a mixed bag of results last week. The LadyCats hit their diamond first against the visiting West Sabine Lady Tigers and they jumped out to an early 4-0 lead through four innings as Paige Powell stymied the West Sabine sticks.
