Dear Lord, I know that when you walked on the earth, you trod upon hard places, you felt the strain of this world and the pressures of mental torment. So I ask that you would come besides me now, lead me through this time where my mind cannot cope.

The Hemphill church of Christ would like to announce that we have a new minister and his wife, Bro. and Sis. Mark and Margaret Sloan. You may remember that Bro. Mark was here at the church of Christ about 20 years ago, the congregation is happy to have the Sloan’s back.

I woke from my nap and looked at my phone. I had left music playing and now, there was only silence.
