The wind is blowing!

Body
I was resting in my recliner, when I glanced out the window. There, something caught my attention. A branch on a pine tree, was waving in the wind. It is a fascinating thing to watch. That I could see it, from my recliner; made it even more special. (Yeah, remember, I’m not young, anymore.) It reminded me of something; that happened years ago, when I was keeping, one of my grandsons. We lived in the parsonage, then. I was in the kitchen, cooking supper. It had a back door; that was the exit, from the house.

The older I get, the more I have to forget, and believe me, I don't forget to forget. I can't keep up with dates, holidays, or even my birthday. I believe a day is a day, and that should be the end of it. As I was drinking my morning coffee, The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage entered and said, 'Do you know what day Saturday is?'

Get rid of it!

Body
I have found some mold, in the closet, near my front door. This isn’t the first time; I have dealt with mold. So, I know what to do. After removing all of the “out of season clothes,” luggage and other things, I can work on the walls.

Body
I’m sure, I’m not the only one. Most of us, are extremely happy; to see warmer temperatures and a shining sun. Those two weeks, I lived in fear of water pipes bursting and the electricity going out. My home is all electric and without power; I would have no heat. It was way to cold, to stay in my house, without it. Then, it happened. I accepted it, with a feeling of dread. I have no generator. I feel that I wouldn’t be able to start it; if I bought one. I would have to have someone, to come do it for me. And that could be, an insurmountable problem. Especially, if the roads were not passable. So, I saved my money. My grandson lives about twenty minutes away. They usually lost their power, before I did. But, this time they didn’t. They also had a generator. They told me; I could stay with them. Thank God, I had a place to go. I know of some people, that weren’t so blessed.
