Welcome Integrity: ASH

Body
Aaron Scott Hudnall… was conceived by loving parents who chose the name that foreshadowed an extraordinary journey. The initials ASH is a reminder of our need for spiritual renewal and repentance, as commemorated on Ash Wednesday. In Hebrew, ashes sounds almost the same as dust; they are homonyms. I was struck by the coincidence of this young man’s vision to edify earth’s nature in art form.

Our Reflection!

Body
We left the hospital and I sat back, with relief. It seemed like, it had been a month, since I had been home. That’s because, I had gone through a series of tests and a procedure, for a life threatening health problem. It had left me weak, shaky and wobbly on my feet.

Welcome Integrity: ANGELS

Body
Have you seen one? Has anyone said “You’re an angel”? How can we identify them in a crowd? Are there any in your Family? Their qualities reflect the fruits of the spirit. “…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness , self control; against such things there is no law.” __ Galatians 5:22-23 I have two angel daughters-inlaw.

Welcome Integrity: Reconciliation

Body
Everybody has secrets but none with God. We carry hurtfulness that weighs us down. Once in silent communion with God, we let go yet often still desire a confidant, a counselor. We look for answers in life and learn from other people’s stories. Humans need one another and it is grand to be united. Unity takes effort. Unity takes the willingness of more than one for the common good of a church. Have you noticed? Church Friends are united in the commitment to worship together. The Pastor leads, the choir sings, members volunteer to help in multiple ways, and in spoken or unspoken prayers, we stand firm in our faith. The truth is… we come together with a light of hope in our being. We come together… in search of the place we belong. We come in need of rest, comfort, encouragement, and our heavenly Father’s wisdom.

Do I need this?

Body
I was taking the bag, out of the garbage can. I wanted to replace it with a new one. I pushed on the side of the bag, to move it. Then, I felt a sharp pain. I knew there was a broken dish, in the bag. I just didn’t think about it coming through the bag and cutting me. I looked down and I was bleeding, badly. I take a blood thinner and I knew this was not good. I washed the blood off and found that I had two cuts. I held a paper towel tightly, on the cut places. It took a while. But, it did finally stop. For days, I dealt with the results of this accident. How was I going to do anything without the use of my hand?
