Everybody has secrets but none with God. We carry hurtfulness that weighs us down. Once in silent communion with God, we let go yet often still desire a confidant, a counselor. We look for answers in life and learn from other people’s stories. Humans need one another and it is grand to be united.

I was taking the bag, out of the garbage can. I wanted to replace it with a new one. I pushed on the side of the bag, to move it. Then, I felt a sharp pain. I knew there was a broken dish, in the bag. I just didn’t think about it coming through the bag and cutting me.

Last week The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage had another one of her girl days with our daughter and granddaughter. Don’t let this get around, but it is one of my favorite days of the year, including my birthday.

It was early morning and I was ready for my coffee. I poured in the water and waited. That surely does look weak. Then, it got a little darker. I poured myself a cup. Yuck! It was extremely weak and just lukewarm. What was wrong with my coffee maker? It was plugged in; so why colored water?
