Body I was driving down the highway; when I noticed something. Off to the right, there appeared to be a vine; that was covered with white flowers. Really? In the late summer? Well the popcorn trees are blooming! (White crepe myrtles.) So maybe this is, too.

Body Throughout my life, money has been quite a challenge. I was a pastor for almost 50 years, and as a pastor I did not get much of a salary, barely enough to get by on. But I didn’t become a pastor for the money, or I would’ve become a televangelist. I didn’t say that, did I?

Body God is all goodness, love, joy and wisdom. In His light peace abides. It is with a grateful heart that I hope humanity chooses the task of lifting, encouraging, and respecting.

Body The lights blinked, then blinked again. Then, they went off completely. Oh, no! I am all electric. There isn’t much I can do without power. I thought about the battery lamp my kids had bought me for a gift, years, ago. It has a bendable arm; that loops around my neck.

Body The forested mountain rose to touch the moonlit navy sky still adorned by the largest full white moon, and the amber road leading to the valley touched notes played by six footsteps. Words remained unspoken.

Body I have had such a happy week. Why? Because I have had the privilege, of spending time with my family.

Body Life has its many experiences. I'm about to hit number 75 this month, a big experience for me.

Body A Friend asked me to write about friendships and I have been mulling it over and over and over again. How could the subject I have been so intimately blessed to know suddenly feel out of reach to justify and declare?

Body When my great grands were here at Christmas; they asked me to make more videos, for them. I finally got around to doing it.

Body As I was leaving the post office, I hurried across the parking lot to get to my vehicle. As I usually do, I kept my eyes focused on the ground as I walked to my vehicle. Then, I saw it. There it was in all of its stunning beauty.
