David Ronald Brown

Body
David Ronald Brown, lovingly known as “Papa”, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025. While he will be missed and remembered always, his family finds comfort knowing he died painlessly and while Trump was president. David was a simple man who lived an honest life. Born on December 29, 1956, David, the second of three sons born to Helen Gray and JC Brown, spent his childhood in Beaumont, and grew up in Pineland. He met his lifelong “bride” (as he called her), Dayla Fisher, while working in Sabine Pass. Despite being tall, tan, and green-eyed, Dayla was smitten with the way he walked– his “strut”, as she called it. They married in 1983 and had three children: Krystle, Kacie and Kaleb. They were amazing parents.

Richard Lester Blevins

Body
Richard Lester Blevins passed away on July 23, 2025, in the presence of his daughter, Pamela Gordon and her husband, Dusty Gordon. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 31, 1962, to William Thompkins and Mary Thompkins Anderson. Richard was a kind and very caring person. He always had a soft spot for his grandchildren and his only great grandson. He adored his mother and would speak with her daily as she lives in NY and they couldn’t be together as much as they would have liked. He spent the last almost two years residing in Milam, which he loved. He was always devoted to his family and would give you the shirt off his back if he knew you were trying and never expected it back. Thats just who he was. So, as we lay him to rest today, remember the good times, the happy times and remember that he is no longer suffering and he is finally having the reunion he has longed for with his father and siblings.

Sid Mitchell Richardson

Sid Mitchell Richardson, 67, passed away on July 23, 2025, in Hemphill. He was born on March 16, 1958, in Beaumont, to Sidney and Neva Richardson. A veteran of the United States Army, Sid served his country with honor before embarking on a long career as a surveyor. For the past ten years, Sid made his home in Sabine County, where he found peace among the piney woods of East Texas. Before that, he spent many years in the Midland/Odessa area of the Panhandle. No matter where he lived, Sid brought with him a deep appreciation for simple pleasures—riding motorcycles through wide-open landscapes, casting a line into quiet waters while fishing, and savoring a cold Budweiser alongside a perfectly grilled steak.
